Hi guys,

I have a customer running XMC 8.2 (standard, not ADV and NO NAC deployed, but using port authentication for all devices) and they need to delegate the task of reseting and enabling/disabling PoE/Inlinepower on EXOS and EOS switch ports for Heldesk users (limited XMC access and NO switching CLI access/knowledge).

The main issue is to reboot some odd IP Cameras that have issues and simply freeze, so they need to search (using compass?) for the MAC address and run some kind of action to restart the inlinepower (a simple click should be great).

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Hi guys,

I managed to do it with some scripting on XMC.

If we could have a right-click on the Compass Search to take actions on the search result ports should be perfect.

BR,
