How can I test alerts

Is there any way I can test alerts from a switch to netsight to email? Something non disruptive… I’m not on site to pull a power supply or do I want to shut down a link and cause an OSPF recalculation.

I want to ensure a bunch of new switch stacks we installed will be alerting us on things.

Hello Keith,

you can sent an test trap with “create snmp trap severity info event test test” on the EXOS switch for example.
