Applications like NetSight, NAC or Purview are licensed forever, meaning that you don't need to pay any renewal fees to keep using the application as is. It will not stop working at some time due to lack of license renewal.

Now, if you want to keep your application current, there is a Software Subscription service that will entitle you to receive updates and upgrades of the software during the period contracted (see http://learn.extremenetworks.com/rs/extreme/images/ExtremeWorks-%20Software%20Subscription%20Service...). This will allow you to migrate your application to the most current version and take advantage of new features.
Hi Ricardo,

I'm not sure if the regulations are just for Germany - but I assume, they are worldwide.
If you buy a Extreme Networks Appliance (e.g. IA-A-20) you have to buy at least 1 year support. With that you get a service-contract running the amount of years you purchased. If the service expires you can buy the service for a new amount of years while the appliance is still not "out of support"

You find the End-of-Life list here: http://www.extremenetworks.com/support/policies/end-of-sales-life-and-end-of-service-life-products

If your product is not end-of-life / end-of-support but is not under a valid service-contract or you are just not sure - contact your Extreme Networks Partner.

Regards
