Install Netsight ISO

Dear all expert,

Currently my netsight server is faulty. If I download the netsight ISO from the portal and upload to the bootable pendrive. Can I directly install the Netsight to the new empty server.

I guess you can do something similar. One of our customer installed NAC in that way.

Try to follow this guide. It is recommended to use Extreme appliance, if not then you can have problems with supporting system on unsupported platform.

Based on my understanding. So I can install the netsight directly to server and no need to install vmware or hyper-v to upload the netsight ISO inside. correctly me I wrong. I just want to ensure can directly install the netsight to the server.

yes you can install you Netsight directly on a hardware.

Please read the release note for the current requirements regarding hardware and OS.

As Tomek wrote it is recommended to use an Extreme Appliance to avoid problems with hardware dependencies
