XIQ-SE onboard through proxy

Has anybody ever successfully onboarded XIQ SE through a proxy server? The welcome page allows to set proxy server, after a while it failes:

Unable to communicate with ExtremeCloud IQ properly after onboarding. You may need to try again later after verifying network connectivity.

I did a tcpdump and I can see communication with the proxy, however at a certain stage it tries to connect to extremecloudiq.com without proxy and of course it fails.

This is a known issue with all current releases of XIQ-SE. As you’ve discovered there are certain calls that are not proxied and XIQ-SE will attempt to ‘direct dial’ and fail if no alternative routable path is found…

Version 21.9.10.90 (GA) has this issue fixed.
