After Upgrade XIQ-SE to v22.06.12.13 - most Application in Analytics are shown as "Undefined-xx"

Hi Community,
I noticed that after upgrading an existing and previous correct working XIQ-SE to v22.06.12.13 the most Application in Analytics are now showing as "Undefined-xx".

Has anyone else made this observation or is this an isolated case with me?

Hi Matthias,

We've got 2 XIQ+Analytics deployments running on 22.06.12.13, and on one of them I see the same behavior...

Please check this procedure: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000099204 The Issue may be related to the hosts file with names and IPs of Analytics and Management server.

Please try this procedure:

1. Login to XIQ-SE

2. Make a backup copy of appid.xml:

cp /usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/Purview/Fingerprints/appid.xml appid.xml.orig

3. Copy the appid.xml from nextgen to Fingerprints folder

cp /usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/Purview/Fingerprints/nextgen/appid.xml /usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/Purview/Fingerprints/.

4. Restart netsight server

systemctl restart nsserver

Fix is scheduled for 22.9 (currently planned mid October 2022)
