Hello,

How can Extreme Control check Windows has the Firewall enabled during authentication?

How can Extreme Control check for services running in the Windows registry?

And if they are not running or present the PC is placed in a remediation VLAN.

the compliance status can be obtained through integration with MDM solutions or through custom API calls/workflows.

Does this mean Assessment and Default Agent Based cannot be used to check for FW and Anti-Virus?

Not clear from what you said on how to integrate with using MDM or APIs to validate if the WIndows machine is running a FW or has Anti-virus?

Hi Rob.

The assessment agent can be used also if the customer has an assessment license already. It is not obvious from the question if you have an assessment license or not.

Is the assessment license only available before September 2024? End customer wants to know the alternative solution and how to implement it is not clear.

Checking for the existence of Sophus Anti-Virus and CASE Windows services during AAA, is this possible?

The assessment license was available till September 2022.

The alternative way is to use integration with MDM solutions or integration through API calls.
