I need to know does Extreme E8 series switch supports L2GRE or Ethernet Over GRE. If i can terminate GRE tunnels on this switch, how many L2GRE tunnels can be terminated on this switch which can act like L2GRE concenterator

The model number is Diamond X8. Let me know additional information is needed.

Hi,

the X8 is EXOS based and does not support L2GRE tunnels. EXOS supports layer 3 GRE tunnels only, see https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Q_A/Does-EXOS-support-multicast-forwarding-over-G... .
