I am having trouble applying default policy on a port B5, reports the below error:

I'm using the default policy, someone help me?

Hi,
yes, it returns an error that role can not be found on the device.
remembering that forced the standard and switch roles accepted, but when I put on a port specifies denied access policy reports the error below.

Hi Jefferson.

It seems there isn't role "Deny Access". You have create this role first.

Hi Jefferson,

before you set any default role, please ensure that all roles of that specific policy domain are enforced on that switch. please check that all Roles are available, then set a default policy on that port.

When you say to verify if all roles of that specific policy domain are enforced on that switch, It is to verify whether they were applied in the machine from the command line or if the roles are present in the policy manager ?

Hi Jefferson,

you should probably check both the switch and verify that the Policy Manager displays information consistent with the switch config.

The output of
show config should contain a policy section.

Hello,

Thank you all for your help, I ended up finding the problem.
I suspected it was something related to NMS have not installed properly why not the default roles he applied, then installed a new version and it worked perfectly.

It's nothing related to software error, I think something happened during installation the OVA of NMS.
