Scrolls "soc_schan_op: operation timed out" Errors and does not Fully Boot

After firmware update, I cannot boot the unit successfully anymore!

I'm trying to reactivate two A2H124-24 units, which had been already dismantled, but shall be used for a charity project here now.
Setting from the previous owners did not let us simply use it, so we thought we should take this opportunity to also bring the software to its actual release.

IIt took me some time to find a workable way to upload the firmware with OS X, terminal app and an xmodem utility "lsx" I found here: http://www.ohse.de/uwe/software/lrzsz.html

Many attempts with other temrinal apps, didn't work. Altough uploading seemed to do well, it was then said that the image was not compatible with the hardware.
anyway, with the a.m. apps, it worked, I uploaded the image and loaded the new code.

So, I assume, installation did do fine. I also updated the boot loader.

Now, what happens after loading the operatinal code is that there's a continous scrolling with errors starting with: soc_schan_op: operation timed out, similar to the description I did find here: https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000064320

I would be glad if you guys could help me out of this trap!!!

The error message you provided indicates you have a failed piece of hardware. There is no way to recover the unit.
