      <description>&lt;P&gt;Copper port not getting up between 2 extreme 220 series switches. The copper cable length is around 90 meters. But when we connect both these switches back to back (means at same location) then the port gets up. We tested copper cable via LAN tester it is fine. Please let me know if this is due to large distance between 2 switches or any other reason.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Technically the distance limit for copper cables should be 100 meters, but we are very close to the limit. What model GBIC are you using? You might want a long range model (LR) for that distance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It is end to end copper connection. There is not fiber or GBIC involved in-between.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
