My procedure was as follows: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;COM port -&amp;gt; rj45 straight through cable -&amp;gt; custom rj45 to db9 adapter (the one linked in the post) -&amp;gt; db9 to USB adapter (this one: &lt;A href="https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08B6C1XQN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08B6C1XQN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&lt;/A&gt;)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Perhaps it is also due to the db9 to USB adapter. Is there anything I need to be aware of?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Or do you have another recommendation for me?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;BR /&gt;I have the problem that I cannot administer / manage my K6 and K10 switch.&lt;BR /&gt;I have already tried various console cables. Unfortunately without success so far. It seems that all cables that are suitable for Cisco do not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone happen to know what kind of cable I need?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
