As with standard routing convention, an address with a longer network mask takes precedence. Here, the more specific
code:
10.9.184.0/22

would be considered before the broader
code:
10.0.0.0/8

.

I want to define two entries in my routing table with static routes.

Destination Gateway
----------------------------
10.0.0.0/8 172.17.1.1
10.9.184.0/22 172.17.2.1

How makes a decision about packet forwarding?
I know that in Cisco Routers searchs the best match, but how makes it an C3G124 Enterasys?

Thanks a lot.
