      <title>SNMP contact lost and device DOWN</title>

      <description>I have received a problem whit one (B5 series) of my (16 switch B5 and X450 series).&lt;BR /&gt;
Since the 4:02 AM the event log show a sequence of "SNMP contact lost" and "SNMP contact stabilished" all the port iof this switch resulted DOWN and at 11:28 AM result a restart of this switch (!!!!!!)&lt;BR /&gt;
I have noticed that the ping it's OK but the device terminal do  not functioned...&lt;BR /&gt;
At the 11:34 AM before I have monitored same of windows of the management network the switch is restarded...&lt;BR /&gt;

Someone in this FORUM recommended to set the "SNMP timedout" form 3 to 5 seconds&lt;BR /&gt;
