Hi guys.

What's thresholds (temperature) are the indicated for correct operations the Enterasys S8 chassis?

I did find it in the documentation:

Environmental Specifications
• Operating Temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C (41 °F to 104 °F)
• Storage Temperature: -30 °C to +73 °C (-22 °F to 164 °F)

But When I see it in the chassis, has two information

on the module:
LM75: 67.000 C

on the environment
Ambient Temperature: 22.0 C

What's the difference between them?
The Ambient Temperature should be the temperature we use falling under the environmental specifications. The LM75 is a temperature of a chip on the boards that does not relate to the environmental specifications.
To expand on Ryan's comment. The temp reported by the LM75 is affected by many variables, How much heat is generated by components on the board, airflow across the surface of the board, density of components on the board etc. Of these airflow is as important as ambient temperature. I would recommend making sure that airflow is unobstructed.
The S8 generates a lot of heat and makes a great deal of noise (think turbine engine) at the high end of the temperature range. Plan to have it in a space with extra cooling.
