I have moved the cables to the 2 switches, and would like to remove the 3rd switch. It is not a base switch. FW: 7.5.0.2, SW: 7.9.1.027<BR /><BR />I have found articles on how to add, and replace switches in stacks, but not remove.<BR /><BR />I presume I disconnect the connecting cables in the back, and just leave two switches connected. Can I do this live (i.e. powered on)? Or should I power the stack off, disconnect switch 3, and power the stack back up?<BR /><BR />I presume the same scenario would apply to the 4900's and 4800's.<BR /><BR />Thanks for the help.
