      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i'm just new in Extreme and have hire in Extreme Enviroment , aftre check all availabe ERS switch in my&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;orgnization i found Spanning tree is disbled in all ERS switches and this can cuase L2 loop , please i need ecommendation about this issue why is disabled and what if i enable it is there any impact will happend&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please note it's disabled on all interfaces not only the uplinks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Spanning Tree will be disabled on a port that is not a member of any VLANs. If you're making a VLAN changes using EDM and apply the removal and add in a single step, I've seen it disable spanning tree because of the order it writes the changes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If all the ports are members of VLANs now, you can enable spanning tree in CLI using:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;interface Ethernet ALL&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;spanning-tree learning fast&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
