But to the best of my knowledge they are just 10GE SPF+ DAC cables.

Is it a must to order 10Ge SPF+ DAC cables? It could be replaced by 10GBic + fiber cable or not.

Great question. The documents are not explicit.

if you look at the factsheets see page 5. 3M, 5M and 10M 10GBASE-CX DACs are also supported as stacking cables on ERS 3600.

That can be interpenetrated for me that you can use SFP+'s or DACs. But that is not a guarantee

Do you have the ability to test this yourself? Do yo have two ERS3600s and SFP+ optics on hand?

Hi Paul:

Thank your update. It was verified through 10GGbic + fiber patch cable substituted of DAC under stacking mode. It is not workable. The status of interface ( port27) was "unsp"(maybe unsupported I guess).
