Hi All,

there is a Fabric with VSP and ERS4900. User Authentication for the CLI users should be done via a Radius Server. With the VSP there are no problems. But the ERS 4900 we have some:

When we login towards the local (switch) database it works. When we want to use Radius it does not work. We see the Request at the Radius and see also the message going back to the ERS4900. But the authentication failed. Has anybody an Idea what is going wrong?

Regards

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

The radius attributes to send are different for those platforms.

See : https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000056602

Mig
