The virtual machines are on separate VMware vSwtiches to force the traffic through an x460-G2. The vSwitches and port groups are set in promiscuous security mode, the port groups are untagged. The extreme switch ports are also untagged. The mirror is configured as follows: configure port mirror "voip" add port 1 ingress-and-egress enable port mirror "voip" to port 2 When the same config is done on a basic HP 1920-G this set up works fine.
