I am trying to get two VLANs which are configured in the same switch to communicate between each other. To my understanding, the switch can do layer 3 routing between VLANs that are configured in the same switch with no need of a physical router. If anyone can tell me the steps i need to take to make this happen. Thanks
Switch Model: Extreme Summit 400-48t
OS: EXTREMEWARE

1. Create the vlans (create vlan)
2. Set ip addresses on them (configure vlan xxx ipaddress)
3. Enable globlal ip-forwarding (enable ipforwarding)
4. Enable ipforwarding for the specific vlans (enable ipforwarding xxx)

That should be enough i guess..
