Hi everybody,
I need to know If there is any CLI command (or NetSight Applications tool) I can use to check a Securestack C3 switch for HW issues.

I tried the various "show port ..." commands, but they only show if ports are admin and operationally up or down, whereas I need to run some hardware diagnostics to check if some ports are really working or not.

First, what version of code and can you send me the output of "show switch" and "show ver" ??

How long have these been in service?

I don't have a current show version and show switch as I'm not currently on site but can update tomorrow but below is what they where before we upgraded them to 15.6.2.

The commands taken before upgrade are as follows:

Hi Bill,

Sorry, forgot to answer your other question. These have been in service since the weekend and have been experiencing problems since then.

Before there was a mixture of x460 and 400's, but none of them stacked. Was running a mixture of Extremeware and EXOS, but as I said, no stacking.

From a logical level the design now looks like a single link end to end using stacking and lags, so there is no spanning tree configured.

So you are on 15.6 now? Have you opened a case with TAC on this yet?

Hi Bill,

That's correct. Unfortunately the GTAC process is going to be slow and difficult, which I can explain offline if you need to know more.

I'm hoping to get some quick answers or some things I can try, any logging I can turn on to capture the issue, any known bugs, recommend versions of firmware etc

That type of thing would be really appreciated.

Hi Ian, the resolution was to configure a debounce timer against all the stacking ports.
