Hi all,

Does any one of you ever encountered problem in having error message on "PIM register-checksum" on BD8k or summit x460 switches?

If yes, may I know how to resolve this ? Please advice.

Do
sho config pim detail on both switches

Make sure this line is the same on both "configure pim ipv6 register-checksum-to exclude-data"

Could also be one of these
configure pim register-checksum-to include-data
configure pim register-checksum-to exclude-data

yes, but either when I applied the command include-data or exclude-data the error PIM register checksum will change from one interface to another interface IP addresses. It is therefore become very difficult for me to troubleshoot in order to get the problem resolve....

PIM register messages are exchanged from multicast source routers (the first hop routers) to RPs.
