X670v with 10/100/1000 baseT sfp. Port is not active.

Port 6 of the Extreme x670V is connected (CAT 6) to 1G port on a SilMech server through a 10/100/1000 BaseT sfp. The server has link lights but the router does not. The router's port is config to the correct vlan and is enabled and ready. I also tried just connecting the router's port to a fluke. Is there any special configuration needed on the router for this to work?

I belive the minimum software version could be EXOS 15.2.1 for X670V. Please confirm it by clicking below link,

Use Extreme Certified SFP.
