    <description>To add to the information that Sumeesh provided, there is some limited support for running mismatched MSMs temporarily to facilitate an MSM upgrade.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
However, this is supported for migration only, and the switch should not be run with mismatched MSMs in a production environment.</description>

&lt;I&gt;Slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10 can accommodate only I/O modules.&lt;/I&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;I&gt;Slot 5/A can accommodate only an MSM&lt;/I&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;I&gt;Slot 6/B can accommodate only an MSM, with the exception noted in Table below:- &lt;/I&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;I&gt;8806 switch&lt;/I&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
