command to find all active ports & their state

I am looking for a way to find all the active ports and their states on a couple stacks. Does anyone know of a command I can run to get that from the stacks?

Link State: A-Active, R-Ready, NP-Port Not Present, L-Loopback
Port State: D-Disabled,E-Enabled, Media: %-Licensed, !-Unsupported, $-Unlicensed
Media Red: * - use "show port info detail" for redundant media type
Flow Cntrl: Shows link partner's abilities. NONE if Auto Neg is OFFYou can also do

code:

show port no-refresh

to get a simpler list that shows the VLAN or number of VLANs and link state.

You could optimize Drew's command that way:

That could be easily turned into a small script to have fancy output or extract what you really want to see, maybe with some other details from the list of port you find.

If you have ExtremeXOS 15.7, you can use the web-based UI (known as Chalet) to get a view of your ports and lots of other information, quickly. Check it out! http://documentation.extremenetworks.com/chalet/

Interesting thing!

But when I enable Russian language.. Translation is pretty ugly and a bit funny. ) I really can improve it if you want. Although a few people would use it.

Just to update the thread... your suggestions got sent along to the Chalet devs and I believe it was approved for inclusion in a future release. I don't know which release though.

Thanks Stephan for the commands but after entering the command i am not able to see the port number details with interface status in the Extreme x450g4 model.
