You are correct, the combo ports will only operate at 1 Gig, they will not run at 100MB. The only X670 that supports 100MB is X670-48t.

I have a X670G2-48x-4q switch and placed a BASET transceiver In the log I noticed the message:

<HAL.PORT.OPTICCFGCFLCT> The configuration for the BASET optic module is not correct - please configure port 40 for auto-negotiation On and speed 1000.

For some reason a 100 mb device cann't get a link on the switch.

Are 100 Mb devices not supported on the X670?

</HAL.PORT.OPTICCFGCFLCT>

Hello, Johan!
48 ports 10GBASE-X SFP+ (1Gb/10Gb dual speed)

Summit Family HW Install Guide
The Summit X670-G2-48x-4q and X670-G2-72x have SFP+ ports that support dual interface speeds ofGigabit Ethernet and 10-Gigabit Ethernet.
