    <description>Hi, I understand that SX is for multimode and LX is for Singlemode fiber.&lt;BR /&gt;
However, any chance that a 1G SX SFP can be run on a singlmode fiber?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Unfortunately no. The MM LED-powered meant for 50/125um is too large for SM 9/125um.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
However, the other way is possible with more loss.&lt;BR /&gt;
