5400 5420F-24S-4XE (Stack) serial console not responding.

Hi, I have recently installed a stack of x4 5420F switches. I was configuring the Stack via Slot1 with no problems. I came back and noticed nothing coming back from the serial, just a blank screen.

When i connect to Slot2,3,4 they all work fine. After reboot Slot1 works again. This has happened again and once again I cannot access Slot1. I cannot config the switch via serial.

How do I clear the serial session or restart the process without rebooting the stack? This is now in production and is the core switch.
