To define the gateway address in XOS you need to the following...&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
configure iproute add default x.x.x.x &lt;VR vr-default="" or="" vr="" vr-mgmt=""&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I would assume you are adding the address to the vr-default on a created vlan so the command would be "configure iproute add default &lt;ADDRESS&gt; vr vr-default"&lt;BR /&gt;

&lt;BR /&gt;
Normally on Enterasys Networks we can write,&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
set ip address 10.0.0.98 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 10.0.0.254&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
but in new Extreme Networks we can not write that gateway address. Therefore, where should we need to define that gateway address and how ?&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>There is no specifi command for gateway in exos    You can add a default route as it does the same .  Every exos switch works the same way</description>
