topic Admin Local-Only command in EXOS? in ExtremeSwitching (EXOS/Switch Engine)

On the 7100 switches there is a command

set system login admin read-write enable local-only yes

From what I can see...this allows the admin account to bypass the radius server and tries to authenticate via the local database first...

is there a command like this in EXOS?

Hello Mike,

Note that EXOS will always use the RADIUS database if RADIUS is available. Only when RADIUS requests timeout will the switch use the local user database.

https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000091009

The only exception is for the specific fail-safe account, which will be used regardless of if RADIUS is available or not.

https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000081953

I hope that helps!
