    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Nick,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it is recommended to update/downgrad&amp;nbsp;a replacement switch to the same version as used in the stack&amp;nbsp;before! adding to the existing stack.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-replace-a-node-in-a-SummitStack" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"&gt;https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-replace-a-node-in-a-SummitStack&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You now can check if the current software version is equal on all slots in you stack with “show version”.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the version is equal you can update your stack to your desired software version.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Something weird happened to me after have replaced a slot within a stack.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The next day I got an alert on my&amp;nbsp;monitoring tool that the firmware of the whole stack downgraded from&amp;nbsp;from 2.0.2.3 to 2.0.2.1. The stack has 3&amp;nbsp;from x440-24p .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is that normal&amp;nbsp;can this be ignored or what do you think?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks a lot in advance!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nick&lt;/P&gt;</description>
