The 715W PSU is described as a PoE PSU in the data sheet for X460-G2. The X460-G2-24X/48X/24T/48T models cannot take that PSU. I'd be surprised if 5520 models without PoE can use it. In the X460-G2 you cannot fit the PoE PSUs in non-PoE models due to tabs in the PSU or chassis that prevent inserting the wrong PSU. If it fits, it works, but I suspect the 715W PAU will not fit in your 5520-24X.

/Fredrik

Hello,

Looking at the 5520 data sheet, it does support the 10951 715W PSU. For the non-PoE 5520s, note that you could otherwise use the 350W PSU, 10953, as the non-PoE switches do not pull much power.
