In EXOS Switches may I use the native stacking ports for MLAG links between two boxes?

Hi, if I’ve got a couple of X465 - 24S that have each 2 x 4 0 GBase-X QSFP+ dedicated stacking ports, may I use this two ports for MLAG link between the two switches instead of use these for stacking or are dedicated only for the stacking?

Hi Antonio,

the QSFP ports on the X465 are dedicated for stacking only which is also specified in the datasheet:

If you want to use 40G as an MLAG ISC you need to order the seperate VIM5-2Q. However keep in mind that the X465-24S only supports one of the two QSFP ports on the VIM5-2Q!
