X440-G2 Dual 10GbE Upgrade License Configuration

Hi all,

I have a X440-G2 switch with Dual 10GbE Upgrade License. i want the step by step configuration on the switch to enable the ports to 10G

1) You use your entitlement to create a license key for a specific serial number in Licensing Portal.
2) You enter the license into the switch as explained in the documentation.
The ports now miraculously work with 10G speed 

You just use "enable license license-key".

What problem are you facing exactly?

Does anyone know if this license moves between switches of the same model in a stack dynamically or would you have to have multiple Dual 10Gb Licenses for each switch in a stack?

You need a license for each unit in a stack.

License is not shared between units/slots
