Yes, as Sam mentioned, follow the TAC recommendations.

X670-G2 and X590 both have EXOS 22.7.2.4 as the recommended stable release. You might want to consider 22.7.2.4-patch1-3 (or later patch versions if available), though. Also, depending on when you plan to deploy, 30.7 is said to be the next recommended release unless something drastic changes, so perhaps you should plan for an upgrade to that before or just after deployment.

Extreme also have recommended feature releases (EXOS 30.6.1.11-patch1-11), but I’d not recommend it unless you really need the features it offers over 22.7.

/Fredrik

Hi,

On below site for X590 EXOS 22.7.2.4 is a maintenance release and EXOS 30.6.1.11-patch1-11 so let us know what is the difference between maintenance release and latest feature release. Is maintenance release is only for testing purpose or can we consider this EXOS 22.7.2.4 as stable firmware?

A feature release contains new feature and some bug fixes, while the maintenance release has only bug fixes. If you aren’t specifically looking for a new feature in a feature release, I would recommend using the maintenance release firmware versions.
