Hi jeronimo,

I ran into the same issue. When creating a XOS 22.x VM it always recognizes your hard drive as a 1 GB drive regardless of the actual capacity.

The only way I found was to use the XOS 30.2 ISO file and to completely re-install the VM image with the ISO. This also re-formats the hard drive and gives you more capacity.

Kind regards
Hi there,
I have my GNS3 appliance for VMware lab running using EXOS 22.5. Now I wanted to upgrade switches to 30.2, which is giving me this:

code:
Note: The inactive partition (secondary) will be used for installation.
Do you want to install image after downloading? (y - yes, n - no, - cancel) Yes

Downloading to Switch.............................................................................................................................................
Installing to secondary partition!

Installing to Switch..............................................................................................................Error: Failed to install image - Not enough disk space.

HDD is the empty8G.qcow image. What exactly needs to be increased in size and how!?

Thanks!
