Another thing , is there any way to put command output in scrollable block to avoid long looking messages.
(pre and blockquote tag did nothing about enclosing content in a frame) ?

May be you are running the older code which doesn't support filtering.

At the end where you put your pipe "|". Right after that, if you do a ?, do you get any options or an error?

actually , the switch is bought by another department of company .
Don't know email id provided while buying .
Without it , I can't create account on secure extreme networks . Hence , can't download OS image for upgrading .
