Hello,

if you have problems upgrading directly to 30.7 install the latest 30.6 version and after that you should be able to install 30.7.

I had two X620 running 22.2.1.5 last week that I couldn’t upgrade directly to 30.7.1.1 Patch 23.

Best regards
Stefan

I am upgrading some x620 switches. Right now they are running version 22.2.1.5-patch1-4. Am I able to go to the latest recommended release of 30.7.1.1-patch1-23 or would it best to stuck with the 22 version? Sorry for the newbie question…...Thanks.

Hi cback85,

The X620 will support the newer version, and there is no intermediate step--you can upgrade directly.

Thanks
Brad

As long as it is saved that is correct. If you see the asterisk in front of the sysname then the running configuration does not match the start up configuration:

Not saved:

* ExtremeCore.1 #

Saved:

ExtremeCore.2 #

Thanks,

Chris Thompson

Also after you upgrade you can also use the command “show configuration difference”(first available in 22.5) to see the differences between the startup configuration and running.

Thanks,

Chris Thompson
