Dear All,

Can any one confirm if ERSPAN works between Cisco & EXOS switch.

Will the ERSPAN supported packets on X450-G2 interoperate with other ERSPAN supported switches like CISCO 9300 devices

Hi NKukke,

Thanks for asking. Judging from what I’ve been able to research, ERSPAN is just a captured packet that has been encapsulated in a GRE and IP header.

If the question is if the switch will pass those packets, yes.

EXOS can also mirror to an IP address--which will be this same type of technology.
