&lt;BR /&gt;
At customer site, we have an X440G2 Switch that encountered high CPU utilization caused by cliMaster process (~30% in avg, ~70% at peak), even web https/https are disabled &amp;amp; no abnormal log observed as well.&lt;BR /&gt;
Could you please let me know what is the best approach?&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>High cpu due to cli process is normal and you should see this anytime you log in and issue commands.  It can also be caused if and when you trigger a backup of the active configuration.  This is why we do all back ups during off hours.  Also remember 99 % of what that switch is doing is being done in hardware so having High CPu usage only effects things the cpu has to process and not switch known network traffic.  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
You should have a log entry at the same time youo see the high usage showing who or what maybe using the cli</description>
