Good Afternoon,

Given these commands on Enterasys S Series:

set vlan interface 1 createset smon vlan create vtap.0.1set port mirroring create vtap.0.1 ge.1.1 both

is it possible to replicate the configuration on XOS?

thanks for your replay,

my problem is that the sniffer has only one interface ( mirror/management ) so if I use Enterasys S series the Sniffer that has an IP address can be reacheable, if I use Xos the port where I connect the sniffer do not belong to any vlan so I can't connect to him ( the sniffer ), I can not add another port on the Sniffer.

someone can explain me the command on Enterasys, I read the manual but I did not understand.

On the EXOS OS you can Mirror to IP, or mirror to VLAN and pipe the mirror VLAN to your sniffer.
