10G SPP+ on a x440

Hi,

I'm trying to connect a x440 to a VSP7400 with 10G links.

When I insert a SFP+ (Extreme Networks 10302) the x440 gives the following error:

<Warn:HAL.Port.OpticNotCompatPortType> The SF+_CX1m optic module is not compatible with SFP ports - please remove it from port 1:48.
<Warn:HAL.Port.OpticNotCompatPortType> Slot-1: The SF+_CX1m optic module is not compatible with SFP ports - please remove it from port 1:48.
<Info:vlan.dbg.info> Media SF+_CX1m is inserted into Port 1:48
<Info:vlan.dbg.info> Slot-1: Media SF+_CX1m is inserted into Port 1:48

I have checked and the SFP+ is compatible.

I have exos 30.7.2.1-patch1-71 running on the x440.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi,

That log message looks to indicate you are using it on a 1gb port(1:48).

Do you have a 10gb license and does it work on ports 49-52?
