      <title>10G SPP+ on a x440</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to connect a x440 to a VSP7400 with 10G links.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I insert a SFP+ (Extreme Networks 10302) the x440 gives the following error:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;Warn:HAL.Port.OpticNotCompatPortType&amp;gt; The SF+_CX1m optic module is not compatible with SFP ports - please remove it from port 1:48.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;Warn:HAL.Port.OpticNotCompatPortType&amp;gt; Slot-1: The SF+_CX1m optic module is not compatible with SFP ports - please remove it from port 1:48.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;Info:vlan.dbg.info&amp;gt; Media SF+_CX1m is inserted into Port 1:48&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;Info:vlan.dbg.info&amp;gt; Slot-1: Media SF+_CX1m is inserted into Port 1:48&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have checked and the SFP+ is compatible.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have exos 30.7.2.1-patch1-71 running on the x440.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any idea what the problem could be?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Jose Chaves</description>
