Is it possible to encapsulate syslog via SNMP traps in EXOS?

one of my clients wants to send syslog over SNMP to a syslog server. Any leads?

Thanks

What is the reason for this special requirement?

Usually, Syslog uses the syslog protocol and is used to send logs (operational, auditing, etc.) to be archived for example.

On the other hand, SNMP traps use the SNMP protocol and send special events to a trap receiver for alerting for example.

The requirement from the client is not to send syslog through UDP514 as they are plain text and they want to rely more on an encrypted method. So the possibility is to check if syslog can be encapsulated through SNMP something like CISCO does or send syslogs through SSL? Is there any other encrypted way to send syslog if not through SNMP?
