Error when upgrade firmware on X690-48x-2q-4c switch

Dear Extreme team,

I have error when upgrade firmware on X690 switch.
Upgrade SummitsX-22.7.1.2 file on X690 switch and this is i got error : "Failed to download image - Error: File COUGAR is not for ONIE_X86"
So can’t upgrade SummitX file on X690 switch.

I found in GTAC and they said X690 have hardware structure not same other switchs

when i upgrade onie firmware and what error occur and what feature i don’t get in production network
Please share your advice to me.

Hello Zombie,

as you found out the x690 is a different hardware compared with for instance an X450 or X460.

You have to use another software. For example: onie-22.7.1.2-patch1-21.xos

You can recognize the right software for this kind of hardware by the leading "onie” in the file name.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. Have you already tried to install an "onie" software?
