When I try to run the cable diagnostics on a VPEX port, I get the following message:

Slot-1 VPEX HGRVCP-CORE-1.1 # run diagnostics cable ports 101:1 Do you want to continue cable diagnostics? (y/N) Yes Error:Port 101:1 is Invalid usage: cablediag [-h] [-p PORTLIST [PORTLIST ...]] [-f] [-d]

Port list can only be defined by ports separated by "," or "-" e.g. 1,2,3 or 4-9 or combination 1,4,7,10-15.. etc Slot-1 VPEX HGRVCP-CORE-1.2 #

If the feature is not available for this type of equipment, the message should be more specific.

Please, someone from GTAC support, update this with an answer. I am also having this problem, and it is unacceptable for the error message to clearly be incorrect.

The fastest way to reach GTAC is to e-mail or even call them so that an issue can get officially reported as they may not have enough opportunity to walk through all threads here.
