Virtual EXOS port limitation?

I've setup GNS3 and have the Extreme images loaded. When I create a new switch and configure it to utilize 65 ports, only 32 are listed when I console into the switch. GNS allows me to make link connections however it is not reflected in the switch console. Is this a virtual limitation or is it able to be overcome? I am using all of the latest versions.

I also run version of GNS3 with Extreme virtual switches. I found that this is a limit with the virtual image. My guess is that this is done to reduce the load placed on your PC so you can still do other things.
