Hi. I need the OID value of 5520-12MW-36W equipment at the request of the client, but there is an ambiguous part, so I will ask. The OS is XOS 31. And the required OID is "module state" !!!

The "show slot" command does not work on the 5520 device, and if you do the "show version", the switch part and the 5520-12MW-36W part are printed out.
How should I respond to the client company??

Hello,

'show slot' only works if you have stacking enabled. If stacking is not enabled and this is a stand-alone switch, the switch is 'operational' if it is online and responding to SNMP.

You can enable stacking on stand-alone switches if you'd like. You could also ask the customer exactly what they mean by 'module state'.

Hope that helps!
