Hello community,

I'am using 2 x456-24s Extreme Fiber switches. I've read that those switches should support 100BASE-X, but in my case they wont.

I think maybe i have wrong SFP modules - i have tried EDGE sfps (i've had positive experiences between edge sfps and Extreme switches).

For MultiMode i got - EDGE 155M-SFP-2D-EX

For SingleMode i got - EDGE 155M-SFP-15D-EX (MGBIC-LC05)

In other end its usually IP cameras or RJ45-Fiber converters. I can see "show port conf no-refersh" that media "!100LX10". I know that ! means unsupported, but in my case i've seen even when ! in front 1gig sfps works fine. I've tried change speed "auto off speed 100 duplex full", but nothing.

Theres no link coming up when Fiber is connected with SFPs. Does switch also say ! - unsupported when in other end is unsupported or only for that what is connected directly to switch.

In my case is there problem with FO converter which can not undrerstand switch sfp?

1G and 10G works super fine.

Thank you!
