You could disable the poe feature on those ports if you dont need it:
<LI-CODE lang="markup">disable inline-power ports 3:45-48</LI-CODE>

We have a switch that has 4 ports that are delivering high levels of power and it is causing other PoE ports on the switch to consistently power cycle the devices on them. Here is the inline power log for that switch:

# show inline info port 3:1-48

Port State Class Volts Curr Power Fault
(mA) (Watts)
3:1 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:2 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:3 delivering class2 56.0 48 2.600 None
3:4 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:5 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:6 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:7 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:8 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:9 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:10 disabled ------ 56.1 119 6.600 None
3:11 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:12 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:13 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:14 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:15 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:16 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:17 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:18 disabled ------ 56.2 117 6.500 None
3:19 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:20 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:21 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:22 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:23 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:24 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:25 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:26 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:27 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:28 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:29 disabled ------ 55.9 78 0.000 None
3:30 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:31 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:32 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:33 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:34 disabled ------ 56.0 112 0.000 None
3:35 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:36 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:37 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:38 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:39 disabled ------ 56.2 50 0.000 None
3:40 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:41 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:42 searching ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:43 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:44 disabled ------ 0.0 0 0.000 None
3:45 disabled ------ 3959.6 23788 0.000 None
3:46 disabled ------ 1227.7 62652 0.000 None
3:47 disabled ------ 2903.2 56797 0.000 None
3:48 disabled ------ 1744.5 63420 0.000 None

We have unplugged the cables that were plugged into those ports and shut down the switch overnight. When we turned them back on there was no change to the power output. We have not manually disabled any ports on the switch previously. I just tried to disable port 3:45-48 but that didn't seem to have an affect.

Does anyone know if there is a way to stop them from interfering with the rest of the switch?
